MASON CONTRACTORS OF THE U. S. & CANADA WILL GATHER
IMPORTANT DATES
FEB. 11-14, 1961
IN HOUSTON, TEXAS...
HOUSTON, TEXAS, one of the nation's fastest growing metropolis, will be host to the largest convention ever held by the Mason Contractors Association of America when it holds its 12th annual meeting and educational trade show at the Shamrock Hilton Hotel, February 11 through 14.
Mason Contractors from the mainland, Hawaii, Alaska and Canada will enjoy the many fine facilities, accomodations and recreation for which Houston is famous. But for the men at least, the four-days-Sunday through Wednesday will be action packed days devoted to the promotion and expansion of the Masonry Industry.
Showing the dramatic growth of Houston is the aerial view on the right. In the lower left hand corner is the new 44-story Humble Oil Refining Co. Building. Right center is the new First City National Bank Building. The new Sheraton Lincoln Hotel is in the lower left center with the Americana Building just behind and to the right.
This year's convention will be presided over by MCAA President Stephen D. Raimo, MASONRY - OCTOBER, 1961
