This handsome structure is the administrative building of the new McNeil Laboratories in Fort Washington, Pa. Brick is used dramatically in strong vertical panels that appear to float above the ground. The architect is Vincent O. Kling of Philadelphia.

Right: Awarded a Bronze Plaque in the Borough of Queens Chamber of Commerce competition was the Bayside Federal Savings & Loan Association building. Architects were LaPierre, Litchfield & Partners with masonry work by MCAA Member, Ray Contracting, Syosset, N.Y. Builder was Thatcher Construction Co., Inc., Manhattan.
