TRUCO whips cast iron
'toughy,' 60 feet down
The men of R. E. Daily Co., Detroit contractors, peered at the 1½" thick, cast iron gate valve retainer ring. It lay in a confined area at the bottom of the sewer, 60' below street level. Twelve equally spaced 14" holes had to be drilled so it could be fastened to existing studs in the gate valve. Each hole was accurately drilled in 5 min. with portable TRUCO Drilling Equipment. DES MOINES, IOWA The Masonry Contractors of Centr joined with Region 6, SCPI, and Western Mineral Producte present to 85 leading architectural firms of central lawat information on masonry Construction. Following refreshmen dinner at the Holiday Inn, the architects heard George A MCAA Executive Vice President; Dale Moll, Engineer, Western Products Co and James Neville, Regional Director, SCPI, discuss various aspects of their particular organizations.
