Children cannot be expected to heed a sign reading "No Trespassing". Children cannot be expected to comprehend the dangers that exist around most construction jobs.
Neither contractors nor their workmen can predict in advance as to what form of fun the kids will be apt to engage in. Contractors, of necessity, expect the worst since that is usually what happens. To guard against these eventualities is quite a job, but it can be done.
Since children come on the jobs to have fun by doing many things that are covered by this series of photographs, we feel contractors should give special attention to these items.
Yes, for the safety of all those kids, let's keep them off the job.
