Schedule Summer Board Meeting For Wisconsin
Something new will be added to this year's Summer Executive Board meeting. A Workshop Clinic and a Management Institute are being scheduled to precede this year's Board meeting. One of the features of the Workshop Clinic will be a Hi-Bond Mortar, the first of its kind ever held. Those who attend will be first to hear various features of this new product and to learn of its unique characteristics. Attendance will be limited to members who register in advance with the MCAA Office. Structural Clay Products Research Foundation is co-operating with the MCAA Research Committee in working out a comprehensive course for the members.
Planned also, will be a Management Institute. Topic of the Institute course will be announced in the next edition of Masonry by Dee Brown, Education Committee Chairman.
Beautiful Lake Geneva, Wis., will be the setting for this year's meeting and the brand new show case of the Midwest, the Abbey, is the place. Located on the western end of Lake Geneva, the Abbey offers a full range of activities for those attending. Swimming, golfing, boating and horseback riding are just a few of the events available.
Prior to programing details it will be necessary for all attending to pre-register for each event. Data is accessible for those arriving by car, the Abbey is located at the Fontana end of beautiful Lake Geneva. Helicopter service can be arranged from Chicago's O'Hare Airport and for private planes, Big Foot airport, 10 miles from the Abbey, is available.

The Abbey, on Lake Geneva, Fontana, Wis., will be the site of the MCAA Summer Executive Board. This is Mid-America's newest and biggest year 'round resort. Plan to attend this year's meeting starting on Wednesday, July 31.

Sunday, August 4-No scheduled events.
The Education Committee reports that a Special Labor Relations Seminar and a Methods & Systems Session have been tentatively scheduled for the MCAA Management Institute.
Open New Houston Plant
Hohmann & Barnard of Alabama, Inc. has announced the opening of a new 15,000 sq. ft. warehouse and manufacturing plant in Houston, Texas, to serve the southwest. The plant is located in the new Edwards Street complex.
Material Handling Show
The Material Handling Institute Midwest Show will be held June 4-6 in Chicago's McCormick Place. This interesting and important event involves over 175 national manufacturers representing the most impressive names in the material handling equipment manufacturing field.
