Sources of Capital
Borrowing money from commercial banks is the largest source of funds available to small business. Borrow money to meet seasonal needs or to start, buy or expand a business. Commercial banks are the prime source of loans. Various studies indicate banks account for 70-80% of loans to small and medium size business.
Have someone buy part ownership in the firm.
Last, and most important, generate additional income through more efficient operations.
If you are contemplating any of the above four mediums of creating capital, look first to your open book, notes and contract receivables. Perhaps, improved credit granting practices will help to create more profits that you have already earned.

4D1 HIGH LIFT SPEEDS POURING OF COLUMNS, ELIMINATES SPILLAGE FOR GUY F. ATKINSON COMPANY!
The Guy F. Atkinson Company, world renowned west coast contractors and engineers headquartered in South San Francisco, recently used a Lull Model 4D1-32 Four-Wheel Drive High Lift equipped with a ¾ yd. slip-on concrete hopper to speed pouring of columns and decks on their Mt. Pleasant High School job at San Jose, California.
The Atkinson crew positioned their Lull High Lift so that all ground movement of the machine was completely eliminated during the pouring operation. Ready mix trucks dumped concrete directly into the machine's carriage mounted hopper attachment. The High Lift operator then quickly elevated loads to proper height and hydraulically extended the carriage forward so the hopper was positioned with the spout directly over the form, where the operator of the vibrator tripped the gate. This fast smooth work cycle permitted extremely accurate placement of concrete, eliminating loss and spillage and cleanup of surrounding forms and footings. Besides this job, the machine was also used for loading and unloading other materials and for general utility.
If you want to introduce new labor saving efficiency and economy to your handling of concrete, brick, block, lumber, steel beams and scaffolding as well as other materials, keep your crews working even when site conditions really get rough, then get one of these versatile, dependable, rugged Lull High Lifts today.
