Photo above shows Lull 40 foot High Lift owned by Axel H. Ohman, Inc. being used to elevate and place mortar on the fifth floor level of the Macalester dormitory and dining hall construction job in St. Paul. General contractor for this 2½ million dollar project was Orville E. Madsen and Son, Minneapolis. This Lull machine was used by Ohman to handle approximately 635 yds. of mortar, 230,000 block and 280,000 face brick on this job.
