Roto-Hammer
Skil Corp. has announced a
new Roto-Hammer (model 728)
for making holes in masonry
from 5/32 in. to 2 in., and a new
Demo-Hammer (model 729) fod
heavy-duty demolition work.

Delivering 2900 blows per min.
ute at 500 rpm's, the hard-hitting
model 28 Roto-Hammer, priced
at $259.50, will ouperform any
other hammering drill or rotating
hammer costing up to 590 more,
according to Skil.

This new Roto-Hammer makes
Skil's line of five power rotated
hammers the most complete avail
able, and all have the three-way
action that allows: 1. hammering
with power rotation, 2. hammer
ing without power rotation and 3.
drilling without hammering.

Skil says the model 728's ability
to hammer while power rotatin
a carbide bit makes it the lowest
cost way to drill masonry. The
tool may also be used as a ham
mer for chiseling, chipping, and
demolition work and as a 1/2 in.
drill.

Other features of the Roto-
Hammer include Skil's Super
Burnout Protected motor with
silicon rubber shock absorbers,
accessories with large diameter
shanks to minimize breakage and
promote long bit life, heavy-duty
spring-mounted tool retainer, elec
tro-pneumatic drive with high-
velocity air filter system, heat-
treated steel gears and a'uminum
piston, hardened alloy steel striker
with self-adjusting rings that com-
pensate for wear, and long-life
brushes.

The model 29 Demo-Hammer
delivers 3000 blows per minute
and is priced at 5249.50, making it
the lightest (14-1/2 pound), and
most powerful hammer in its
class, according to Skil.

Similar to the model 728 Roto
Hammer, the model 729 has all of
the same features except power ro-
tation. It is designed for heavy
demolition work, chiseling, chip
ping, slotting, channeling, surfac
ing concrete, removing old mor-
tar, descaling, rust removal and
wood gouging.

Other Skil Roto-Hammers are:
model 706 for making 5/32 in. to
3/4 in. holes in masonry ($149-
50): model 1706;, similar to mod
el 1706 except it is double insulat
ed to make grounding unnecessary
($169.50) model for making
5/32 in. to 1-1/2 in. holes ma
sonry ($239.50), and the model
736 for making 1/2 in. to 3-1/2
holes in masonry (5349.50).

A larger, even more powerful
Demo-Hammer, model 737, is
available for heaviest duty ham
mering (5325).

Both the model 728 Roto-Ham-
mer and the model 729 Demo
Hammer, which come with de
tachable side handle and steel
carrying case, are available im-
mediately from, distributors. For

Snowplow
The Prime-Mover M-15B Pow
ered Buggy features a snowplow
attachment for use at construc-
tion and industrial sites. It is en-
gingered to minimize side thrust
and to prevent snow packing on
the moldboard, and performs
equally well on wet or dry snow.

The four foot blade can be
quickly dropped off, permitting
the Prime-Mover to resume its
normal material handling work.
When the plow is in use, the 10
cu. ft. bucket can be filled with
sand or salt for spreading on
icy areas.
