The Law of Contracts In Relation To Mason Contractors
(continued from page 23)

One way in which you can avoid these difficulties and properly protect yourself is to fully understand all the terms of every agreement you enter into and insist that adequate provisions are made to expressly cover your rights and obligations. The time and expense which you spend in this way before signing a contract will be recovered many times over.

Maximizing Profits
(continued from page 21)

I cannot help but feel that in the future you will be required to invest larger and larger amounts of money in equipment, which will in turn thin the ranks of masonry contractors by their not being willing or able to invest the amounts required. It is my firm belief that in the future in order for a masonry contractor to increase his profits, or maximize them, he will have to invest more money, look for new methods, and establish the best cost controls available.

I was not able to tell you how to be assured of making a profit and doing away with competition the last time I talked to you. I still cannot do so, but I hope that this will help you in making future decisions so that they will be sound and logical.
