Tuesday's general sessions were opened with a prayer by Reverend Fathr Kenneth W. Mulholland, St. Malachi's Church. MCAA's Legal Counsel Peer Pedersen then presented a review of various matters which affect the daily operation of a mason constractors business. Herb Johnson, Vice President and Economist, Continental Illinois National Bank & Trust Co., Chicago, gave the members a good insight on the economic status of the country and pointed out trends and factors for them to follow.




T. D. Fallon, Director of Sales Training, National Gypsum Co., presented his Sales Clinic which gave members pointers on developing their sales potential during the coming months.




Closing out the Tuesday morning session was George King, Treasurer, Bricklayers, Masons & Plasterers International Union, Washington, D.C. Mr. King reviewed the various activities of the Union and discussed topics of prime interest to the mason contractors.




President Dietrich called the Annual Meeting to order at 1:35 P.M., in the Cleveland Room. Mr. T. Walter Kirk, St. Louis, led the members in prayer. Following reports of the various Officers and Committee Chairmen. The Chair then called upon Nominating Committee Chairman Fred Daues who presented the slate of officers.
