ESTIMATING

Approximately twelve hours of classroom time were put in during the day and one half. This group ponders one of the many items that was presented by Mr. LeJuene.

A resounding success — That is the evaluation of the first in a new series of Management Institutes to be conducted by the Mason Contractors Association of America. Kicking-off the 1965 series was the topic "Masonry Estimating" and from the reception received, This is one subject that will get added attention by the MCAA Education Committee.

Featured lecturer at the meeting was Edward G. LeJuene and he spoke to a full house and an especially attentive group. Mr. LeJuene is Manager of Estimating, Abbot Construction Co., Chicago. This practical 12 hour course showed contractors how to set up the take-
