The mortar completely surrounds each Siderod with WAL-LOK, the mortar grips all the way around!!
WAL-LOK is also DOUBLE Deformed. Side Deformation (1/32 each way off center) Increases gripping qualities 4.6 times over plain wire.
WAL-LOK Top and bottom, 14 square cut teeth per inch are rolled into each Siderod. Gives the effect of four gears fully meshed with the mortar, the entire length of the wall.
WAL-LOK is now furnished in three grades STANDARD, SUPERSTANDARD and EXTRA HEAVY. WAL-LOK complies with or exceeds government specifications.

The stone to be processed is delivered from an existing stone plant directly into the storage bins of the new system. Prior to feeding into the kiln, the stone is scalped to remove fines.

The heart of the burning plant is a 10 foot diameter, 230 foot long Traylor rotary kiln. It is equipped with a Warner satellite cooler integral to the kiln. The dolomitic limestone is converted into quicklime at high temperature in the kiln by driving off 47% of the weight of the stone in the form of carbon dioxide. After cooling, the quicklime is screened to eliminate fly ash contaminants picked up from the powdered coal used as fuel.
Pebble quicklime is delivered by belt to the processing plant where holding bins for storage of several thousand tons of quicklime of various sizes are available. Here the lime is processed into dolomitic pebble quicklime and many small fractional sizes.
Dolomitic quicklime in its various sizes is used in making iron and steel, in the manufacture of glass, and in processing an almost infinite variety of chemical products. It is also used in the neutralization of acid in sewage treatment, in the treatment of industrial wastes, and in the manufacture of fertilizer.
Ohio Lime Company on its 600 acre property at Woodville, Ohio, in addition to a sizable stone plant and the new rotary kiln, operates an additional 36 shaft kilns to produce lime largely for the building trades, two rotary stone dryers for the production of dried stone products, and
