This series was prepared with the operation of Structural Clay Products Institute. "Bricklaying I", designed for individual apprentice use, is a course of instruction that combines the practical methods utilized in brick masonry with explanations for these methods. The information in "Bricklaying I" covers the first year of the related training undertaken by the brick mason apprentice. The material is divided into 14 units, each consisting of a section on related technical information and a section on shop practice. "Bricklaying II", covers the second year of related technical information and shop practice. "Bricklaying III", contains further advanced material as a constinuation of the two previous volumes. Volumes II and III each contain several 18 x 30 folded-in blue prints. "Correspondence Course": For those apprentices unable to attend regular related training classes, the above material has been adapted for home study. This book is written in simple trade terminology and well illustrated with line drawings. The range of problem material provides basic instruction for beginning apprentices. A sufficient number of trade problems are covered for beginning apprentices to master each new mathematical principle. Testing material is provided at the end of each unit to make certain that it is mastered before advancing to the next. There are 11 units with 15 tests. The Answer Key includes solutions to all problems.
