MCAA BOARD VISITS ARIZONA PLANTS
During a recent meeting of the Mason Contractors Association of America Executive Board held in Phoenix, Arizona, members took one day from their busy schedule to tour various construction sites and manufacturing plants in the area. One plant tour was that of Panel Craft Corp. Here the members viewed a new type masonry component which has integral masonry units placed on a cored concrete panel. This, as the photos show, provide a wide variety of patterns producing an interesting architectural effect. In addition, the board members toured the facilities of Super-Lite where they saw, besides the manufacturing process, an interesting cubing system for concrete masonry units. This, like all meetings of MCAA, combined a heavy business schedule with on the job inspections, so each executive board member is well aware of the activities of his industry.
