Various committee and officers reports were presented. This was followed at 4 P.M. with the President's Reception. Then at 5 P.M. the MCAA Educational Trade Show was officially opened when Vice President Don Bidwell cut the ribbon at the entrance of the hall. The '67 MCAA Educational Trade Show topped them all both in size and outstanding displays.

Sunday's program was centered around the workshop "Your Future and the Bearing Wall." Those who attended heard from Architect Edward Angerer, Engineer Jim Gross and Mason Contractors Dan Berich and Gerald Sutherland. Each of the speakers presented an informative paper on bearing wall and generously described their materials with slides. Moderator Robert Denny, Henry J. Kaufman & Associates, Washington, D.C., did a skillful job in guiding the various presentations and making sure that all questions from the audience were properly answered.

At 9:30 A.M., Monday, Vice President Bidwell sounded the gavel which called the first session to order. After an impressive presentation of the colors by the U.S. Marine Corp the Very Reverend Hartnett gave the invocation. Les Dietrich, Convention Chairman then welcomed the delegates and their wives to St. Louis and introduced the Mayor of St. Louis A. J. Cervantes. Robert Sloss, President of the St. Louis Chapter presented the welcome on behalf of the St. Louis members and associates.
