Summer Executive Board Meeting
MCAA held its Summer Executive Board Meeting in the Pike's Peak Region of the Colorado Rockies at the beautiful Broadmoor Hotel. With a record number of board members in attendance, this meeting turned out to be the most productive ever held by the Association.

Starting at 11 o'clock on Tuesday morning, immediately following a series of committee meetings, the Executive Board continued on through without break until 3:30 when all business had been completed. Full reports were heard from Committee Chairmen and officers concerning programs and activities of the Association.

In his report Material Handling Committee Chairman Harry Strauss presented MCAA Unit Package Specification #1-67 (which appears in another section of this issue) and it received unanimous approval of the Executive Board.

Charles Danna, Chairman of the Insurance Committee, reviewed his Committee's activities and then introduced MCAA Insurance Consultant, Walter Derk of the Fred S. James Co., who reviewed in detail the Association's Group Accident Program, Family Money Plan, and the Variable Pension Plan, along with a summary of the preliminary work being done on a Group Life Insurance Program.

The Education Committee report by Robert Harrison, Chairman, highlighted the fact that the Association's new course, Financial and Tax Planning, will be presented on September 22-23 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In addition other avenues of approach to the educational field were being investigated by his group.

President Anthony Perri, Brooklyn, N.Y. and Vice President Donald Bidwell, Detroit, pause before the annual Executive Board Banquet held on Tuesday evening at the Broadmoor, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
