Milwaukee Honors Gregor Pichler

Milwaukee has honored Gregor Pichler, the Austrian Consul General in Chicago, with the "Milwaukee Award for Civic Progress." New Art Installation at the Milwaukee Art Museum

Local Brewery Wins National Award

Lakefront Brewery, a Milwaukee-based craft brewery, has won a gold medal at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado. Their "Riverwest Stein" Vienna Lager was recognized as the best in its category, beating out hundreds of other entries from breweries across the country. Russ Klisch, the brewery's founder, expressed his pride in the achievement, stating that "this award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team." The Riverwest Stein is a popular choice among Milwaukee beer enthusiasts and is known for its smooth, malty flavor.


Summer Concert Series Announced

The city of Milwaukee has announced its lineup for the annual Summer Concert Series at Maier Festival Park. This year's series will feature a diverse range of musical acts, including rock, pop, country, and blues artists. Headliners include The Flaming Lips, Sheryl Crow, and Buddy Guy. The concerts will take place every weekend throughout the summer, starting in June.
