People & Events

Another page in the history of the MCAA was written during February 17-20 when the Association held its 18th Annual Convention at the Marriott in Atlanta. All of us will remember the warm hospitality of the Atlanta Chapter members and their wives and all the time and effort that each one of them devoted in making the Convention a success. Our special thanks to Convention Chairman O. L. Jollay and his wife, Margaret-they did a wonderful job... Governor Lester Maddox really got down to work. If he didn't shake your hand at the entrance to the ballroom on Monday morning, you're the only person he missed. The Marine Color Guard, as usual, did another splendid job in presenting the colors.
