COLD WEATHER AHEAD!
Masonry Work Proceeds Through Winter with Enclosure Available Exclusively on MORGEN Scaffolding
While the temperature outside was 5 above zero, Pike Construction Co., Paterson, N. J., laid bricks on a $1.4-million alteration to the Dwight Morrow High School in Englewood, N. J.
A winter enclosure system available only with Morgen Adjustable Scaffolding allowed the bricklayers to work through the bitter cold with no time lost.
Work and men are protected by a polyethylene "greenhouse" that elevates with the masons, laborers, material and heaters as the wall progresses. Fresh masonry is kept from freezing until it is well set.
Because the enclosure is assembled and covered at ground level, it eliminates the dangers of handling heaters and canvas on elevated scaffolding.
Morgen Scaffolding not only let Pike work through the winter but it increased masonry production "considerably." According to Howard Miller, project superintendent, the scaffolding "keeps men working constantly at the most convenient level, so they just get more done."
Morgen Scaffolding alone will increase masonry production 10% to 20% or more. With the enclosure system, it lets you work through the winter, finish up late jobs, and hold good men by offering year around work. You can't find a more profitable investment. Prove it to yourself on a rental basis.
