Tile Saw
A broad new line of bigger capacity tile saws has been developed by the Robert G. Evans Company of Kansas City, Missouri, manufacturers of TARGET Masonry, Concrete and Metal Cutting Saws and Blades.
Available in both "tray" and "tub" styles, the user has a choice of blade capacities in 10", 8" or 6" models, with 4, ½ or 15 HP Motors.
The specially developed "tray" style, Model T-1075, features a single stanchion "Open Throat" design which now makes it possible to cut longer lengths of treads and sills, and enables the operator to cut clear through a 12" x 12" tile in a single pass!
Among the many features on these sturdily constructed tile saws are: a new blade guard design to permit quick, easy blade changing, an easy-to-adjust cutting head, compact precision greased and sealed ball bearings, heavy duty conveyor cart with precision machined back guide for accurate cuts, and a high-volume recirculating submersible water pump with built-in thermal protection.
Developed for use on tile saws are TARGET SUPER-LOK Continuous Rim Diamond Blades for freer cutting and longer blade life. SUPER-LOK diamond blades are available in 10", 8" or 6" diameters and feature a "wrap-a-round" rim which offers protection against rim breakage, and provides longer blade life on quarry tile, marble, slate, thinwall ceramic tile and similar materials.

Masonry Anchor
A high strength, heavy duty, masonry anchor which is said to supply 50% more holding force is Curtis' new Dura-Torq unitized anchor.
Dura-Torq anchors are manufactured of a bi-formulated steel with a 125,000 p.s.i. tensile strength and 100,000 p.s.i. shear strength. The anchor is protected by a tri-chromate 200 plating for superior corrosion resistance.
The Curtis Dura-Torq anchor is a unitized assembly that can be installed through equipment mounting plates. The need to move equipment for preparation of anchor holes is thus eliminated. The Curtis anchor has two barbed, heat-treated, spring steel collars which bite into the concrete affording positive holding grip. Presently 14", 16", 1½" and " diameters are available from stock. Larger sizes can be supplied on a special order basis, he new Curtis masonry anchors are full nominal size. For example, the " anchor fits into a ½" drilled hole; has a 1½" body, ½" thread, nut and washer.

Wikomi Concrete Mixer
A new concrete mixer for attaching to 3-point and 2-point tractor hitch systems has been made available by Wikomi Manufacturing Co. of Litchfield, Illinois.
According to a spokesman for the firm, the Wikomi Mixer brings new versatility to a diverse number of mixing operations. The firm suggested that the mixer could be easily used by farmers, landscape and nurserymen, building contractors and others for nearly any mixing or transporting chore.
The mixer comes complete with hydraulic cylinder, hose and fittings so that no additional mounting brackets or equipment are required. Special small-job work is ideal for the mixer since wheel-barrow labor and costly, surplus ready-mix concrete expenses are eliminated.
Although capable of mixing up to 1500 cubic foot or more of material in a day, the Wikomi Mixer is of the convenient 1½ cement sack or 8 cu. ft. capacity.
The mixing drum is driven by the tractor's Power Take-Off and the dumping height and angle by the tractor hydraulic system. In essence, the Wikomi Mixer operates like any other full featured 3-point hitch tool. This special feature allows the Mixer to lift and dump to a raised height over tall concrete forms or into feed troughs.
The mixer's hydraulic dump and return design and the fact that the mixer drum continues to rotate during the dumping operation, allows for a more controlled flow of mixed materials and a cleaner drum when emptied.
Additional information on this new 3-point and 2-point hitch mixer can be obtained by writing to Wikomi Manufacturing Co., Litchfield, Illinois 62056.
