Employee turnover
Employee turnover, the kind that took the lives of nearly 25,000 trained workers last year. Whose business is it? Business' business. For humanitarian reasons, certainly. But aside from the waste of human life, off-the-job traffic deaths last year cost American industry about $1½ billion in time, training and production.
Progressive companies like Coca-Cola, Dow Chemical, Continental Can...and hundreds of others...are doing something to reduce this loss of trained personnel. They are sponsoring the National Safety Council's Defensive Driving Course for their employees. What about you?
By setting up a Defensive Driving Course in your company, the lives you save may be your own employees'.
