Arguably proud of their operating safety records, but the simple fact is that if Group Insurance Plans were modified to insure everyone while flying, the premium rates charged to all participants would go up disproportionately. It is far more practical (and economical from an overall standpoint) to apply low, low rates to the majority, then separately insure pilots and crew at greater cost.
Separate insurance is available for those who fly, and we'd be happy to arrange for such coverage upon request. The maximum limit available in most cases is $25,000 per person.
Our Group Accident policy, incidentally, covers around-the-clock, and is as good an insurance buy as we have ever encountered.

How about the MCAA Hospital Money Insurance Plan-Do I receive benefits if I am hurt at work and also have my bills taken care of via Workmen's Compensation?
Answer:
This is completely supplemental protection and you receive the MCAA benefit in addition to any other insurance you or your dependents may carry, including Workmen's Compensation payments. There are no restrictions on how you use this money.
Question:
I understand that there have been some major changes in the administration of Workmen's Compensation insurance claims in Arizona. What do they mean?
Answer:
In a nutshell, they seem to mean more premium. The Arizona Workmen's Compensation Law is one of the most liberal anywhere and this has caught up to the rate structure to the point where some drastic premium increases are being made.
Private insurance companies are apt to find the going a bit easier now, but it is still not a bad idea to carefully weigh the possible advantage in buying your Arizona coverage from the (Continued on page 55)

Rizzo Elected
Vincent Rizzo has been elected President of the Mason Contractors Association of Delaware. Other officers are: Richard Armstrong. Vice President; Leslie Jewell, Secretary and Louis Mandes, Treasurer.
Nixon's Choices
President-Elect Nixon's Cabinet choices include three Contractors: Massachusetts Governor John A. Volpe as Secretary of Transportation, Winton M. Blount as Postmaster General, and Alaskan Governor Walter J. Hickel as Secretary of Interior.
Governor Volpe was a General Heavy and Highway Contractor and served as President of the Associated General Contractors of America in 1960 the same year he was elected to his first of three terms as Governor of Massachusetts. He was appointed by President Eisenhower as the first Federal Highway Administrator in 1956.
Winton Blount entered the construction business at the end of World War II and is President of Blount Bros. Corporation, General Building, Heavy Highway, and Railroad Contractors in Montgomery, Alabama. He is currently serving as the President of the U. S. Chamber of Commerce. Governor Hickel is a Plumbing & Heating Contractor in Alaska.
New Officers Named
MILWAUKEE, WIS. The Mason Contractors Association of Milwaukee has announced their new officers and directors for 1969. They are: President, Elmer J. Brunner, Jr.; Vice President, Allan E. Knuth; Secretary, Roger Spahr and Treasurer, Fred Revelant. Directors are: Jim Napholz, Neal Wilke and Kurt Froebel.
Booklet Available
The Construction Industry Advancement Program of Greater Cleveland has published a 28-page booklet entitled, "A World of Opportunity in Construction." The booklet compiles factual information on the construction trades apprenticeship program and describes how to prepare for and enter apprenticeships. It explains what the apprentice can expect in wage and job advancement opportunities.
