Apprenticeship Conference
The 19th annual Ohio Apprenticeship Conference was held in Cleveland, October 7-9, with some 850 top training experts from labor, business, industry, education and government in attendance.
Participants reviewed the newest developments in apprenticeship and vocational education programs in meeting the nation's needs for a larger force of skilled workers during a period of rapid technological change and scientific-industrial innovation.
Attention also was devoted to new methods, tools, equipment and materials being employed in the trades and crafts.
