pany's Research facilities in Chicago, the various steps in creating an efficient package with shrink-film were shown and then packages were tested for their durability and stability. The vibrator test simulated a 2,000 mile rail or truck shipment.

Package in the foreground has the shrink-film while that in the back does not. In the simulated 2,000 mile shipment the shrink-filmed package far outlasted the other.
