rather than carpenters represented by Newton, Massachusetts District Council, United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, AFL-CIO, are entitled to perform the erection, assembly and dismantling of metal tubular scaffolds used in the erection of masonry walls at the construction site of the Boston-Marriott Hotel in Auburndale, Massachusetts.

2. Newton, Masachusetts District Council, United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, AFL-CIO, is not entitled by means proscribed by Section 8(b) (4) (D) of the Act, to force or require the Employer, Porrazzo and Hurley Co., Inc., to assign the above work to carpenters represented by it.

3. Within 10 days from the date of this Decision and Determination of Dispute, Newton, Masachusetts District Council, United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, AFL-CIO, shall notify the Regional Director for Region 1, in writing, whether it will or will not refrain from forcing or requiring the Employer, Porrazzo and Hurley Co., Inc., by means proscribed by Section 8(b) (4) (D), to assign the work in dispute to carpenters, rather than to employees of the Employer who are represented by Laborers Local 560.

MCAA Summer Executive Board Meeting

The beautiful Broadwater Beach Hotel, Biloxi, Miss., was the site of the Summer Executive Board meeting, June 21-25, with 99 persons in attendance. Located on the Gulf of Mexico, the Broadwater Beach provided excellent facilities both for business and recreation.

The Finance Committee, under the direction of Chairman Lonie, met on Saturday afternoon to review the Association's financial position and to prepare a budget for the coming fiscal year.

Sunday afternoon 45 persons boarded a fishing boat for a four-hour attempt at landing a big one. With the wind dying down and the sun getting hotter, the catches were far and few between.

Monday morning was set aside for the Labor Relations Committee and Research Committee. J. J. Svec, publisher, BRICK & CLAY RECORD magazine gave
