HOUSTON HOSTS '71 CONVENTION
Shamrock-Hilton Hotel - February 6-9

The Material Handling Jamboree, one of the most popular features on MCAA Convention programs in previous years, will return again at the upcoming annual meeting in Houston. Under the direction of G. W. Veazey of Houston, Convention Chairman, an entire morning will be set aside to demonstrate the newest developments during the past year in the material handling field. Equipment to be demonstrated runs the full gamut, from the smallest hand cart to the largest machinery presently manufactured.

The demonstration area will be in the parking lot immediately adjacent to the Shamrock-Hilton Hotel. Details are being capably handled by Allan Knuth of Milwaukee, Material Handling Committe Chairman. Moderator for the Jamboree will be Frank Laureys of Barrington, Ill., who has been a member of MCAA Committees directly concerned with material handling and is extremely well-qualified.

The "new" Shamrock-Hilton, now celebrating its 21st birthday, has been completely refurbished and once again lays claim to the title, "Landmark of Luxury."

A full-scale mockup of the lunar module makes fascinating viewing at the NASA Manned Spacecraft Center situated about 25 miles from downtown Houston. Free public tours are available daily except Sundays, and no reservations are needed.
