The building design does show the effect of heat and smoke of a fire that reached high degrees at ceiling levels untouched by flame, and melted into blobs. Sheetrock appeared to have absorbed the heat and poured onto desks, concrete block and left dark masses of metal on the floor. There is also solid evidence of the involvement of shorted out electrical circuits according to building employees.
