Advance Scaffolding
New design features cam and stack locks and a coupling release increase speed and ease of assembly, strength, safety and durability of Advance Scaffolding for masonry maintenance and other general uses.

Beaver-Advance Corp., of Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, manufacturer of Advance Scaffolding, developed the Stack Coupling Release for easy removal of stack pins when standard scaffold arrangements are needed for masonry, plastering, painting, electrical work, etc., or when flush working decks are desired. The patented Beaver-Advance Cam Lock is welded to the end of all braces to provide an absolute "Position Lock" to all panels. It allows the brace to securely lock to the panel without tools, eliminating the time-consuming, unreliable nut, bolt and clamp methods.

The Beaver-Advance Stack Lock locks tiers of Advance Scaffolding together vertically. A safety device, the Stack Lock, is welded to the base of each panel column. The bottom of the column is slipped over the stack coupling on the column below and the Stack Lock is inserted into a hole in the column.

With these design features, towers of Advance Scaffolding are self-supporting, require no additional lateral bracing and eliminate much nailing. The firm says this permits more freedom of movement of the job and ensures stability under heavy loads of materials.
