Executive Board Meets at l'Esterel

Nestled in the forested heart of the Laurentian Mountains, approximately 100 miles north of Montreal, is the beautiful Hotel l'Esterel, site of the Summer Executive Board Meeting on June 25-28. With 138 persons in attendance the meeting combined both business and pleasure in delightful proportions.

The Finance Committee with Chairman James Lonic and members Stephen Raimo, Doug Hughes and Robert Tubesing started the meetings off on Thursday morning. They received the Association's financial position and prepared a budget for the coming fiscal year.

Chairman Allen Knuth, Material Handling Committee, called his session to order at 10:30 A.M. This meeting was attended by 32 members who reviewed the entire history of the committee and set forth a fall meeting schedule for the group.

Friday morning was set aside for a round table discussion by the Labor Relations Committee. Chaired by President Allen Young the meeting covered a broad range of subjects directly affecting the Masonry Contracting Industry.

At 1:30 P.M. members teed off for the Annual MCAA Golf Tournament, the winner of which receives the Pittsburgh Corning Glass Block Trophy. Les Dietrich is the champ in a very close match. Saturday morning at 9:30 A.M. President Young called the Executive Board meeting to order. It heard full reports from the officers and committee chairmen. It approved the Financial Report submitted by Chairman Tubesing and the 1970-71 Budget presented by Chairman Lonie.
