The Unit Masonry Association of Cincinnati recently held an Informational Meeting on the subject of "Sarabond." Speakers were Rick Prokaski and Tom Logan of Dow Chemical Co.
William Wojteck has been named Northwest district manager for W. R. Grace & Co., Construction Products Div. Austin G. Skromme has been named corporate director of engineering service at Koehring, Milwaukee, Wis.

MG. Edwin Burks, a retired Vice President of Caterpillar Tractor Co., has been named to the Construction Safety Advisory Committee by Secretary of Labor George P. Shultz. Menze as Product Manager, Materialite Division of Marblehead Lime Co., has been announced by M. J. O'Brien, President.
Systems Study Begun
The National Concrete Masonry Association has entered into a contract with the Illinois Institute of Technology Research. The systems study will have as its end result, the development of a catalog of structural elements, properly detailed, which can be used in systematized construction of low-rise, high-rise and basement construction-all relative to dwellings.
Hold Tri-State Meeting
The 4th Annual Tri-State Meeting of MCAA Chapter in Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia was held at the Royal Sonesta Hotel, New Orleans, June 11-13.
Featured speakers during the two day meeting were John Joyce, Treasurer, B.M. & P.I.U., Washington, D.C.; Allen Young, MCAA President, Memphis; Ray Lackey. International Masonry Institute, Washington, D.C.; Francis A. Williams, Mississippi-Louisiana Brick & Tile Mfg. Assoc. and George A. Miller, MCAA Executive Vice President. Presiding at the meeting was MCAA Treasurer David Soloff, Jr., Chattanooga.
