OHIO® MASONS LIMES
OHIO® LIME products are manufactured
from the world's purest dolomitic lime-
stone deposits. Quality controlled milling,
screening and processing makes it possible
for us to produce exceptionally high qual
ity masonry lime.
There is a right lime for your job. One
of these three with the proper cement and
sand mixture will give you an excellent
mortar. Match your mortar to your bricks
and to the service your wall must perform.
OHIO MASONS HYDRATED LIME
Ohio Masons Hydrated Lime meets Fed-
eral Specifications SS-L 351 type M and
also A.S.T.M. serial designation C-207-49
Type N. This lime must be soaked 12 hours
in putty form before use in mortars.
OHIO QUICK MIX® AUTOCLAVED TYPE S
MASONS LIME
Quick Mix Masons Lime is pressure hy-
dated or autoclaved and meets A.S.T.M.
serial designation C-207-49 type S as well
as Federal Specification SS-L 351 type M
and the amendment that "the lime shall
contain not more than 8% of unhydrated
oxides." Lime shall be added with other
dry mortar ingredients and need not be
soaked before use.
ZIG ZAG AIR-ENTRAINED AUTOCLAVED
TYPE S MASONS LIME
Zig Zag air-entrained Masons Lime
meets all the specifications met by Quick
Mix Masons Lime with the addition of air-
entrainment for better water retention and
workability. This Lime must not be soaked
before use.
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE WITH AIR-
ENTRAINED CEMENT.
