Meet Your Vice President
David B. Soloff Jr., MCAA's new Vice President, is a young and progressive mason contractor in Eastern Tennessee. His firm, Larson and Soloff, Inc. of Chattanooga, performs a variety of masonry projects in the commercial and industrial fields and is well-known for its high quality work.
"Mickey," as he is more familiarly known to his friends, is a graduate civil engineer and worked with the Power Engineering and Construction Division of the Tennessee Valley Authority. He later was employed as a masonry estimator until starting his own company in 1957, which he now serves as President and Treasurer. He also is President and Treasurer of two roof deck firms, Light Weight Concrete Company of Nashville and Foam-Crete Company of Chattanooga.
Active in numerous industry affairs, Mickey has held the posts of Treasurer, Secretary, Vice President and President of the Chattanooga Chapter of MCAA, and last year was Treasurer of MCAA. He also is a member of the Construction Specifications Institute.
Mickey and his wife, Billie, have three children, Beth, 17, David, 18, and Mark, 12.
