Huron Cement Speeds Pollution Abatement
Huron Cement Division of National Gypsum Co., Detroit, anticipates completion of a new wastewater disposal system for its Superior (Wis.) distributing plant by January, 1971, ten months ahead of schedule.
The system consists of a 2,000-ft. sewer line and pumping station which will cycle untreated domestic sewage through the city's sewage treatment plant and is being built to conform with the state's specifications.
