Aeroil's "Husky" Heater
Aeroil Products Co., Inc. has introduced its all-new 90,000 BTU oil-fired heater called the "Husky." The unit features a positive gear pump and a high-intensity heat screen. Standard equipment includes a motor overload switch.
The "Husky" is expressly designed for temporary heating applications and is easily moved about on its own wheels. It is transportable in the trunk of the average car.

Dart Lighting Units
A new four-page bulletin describes the six models of mercury vapor, mobile flood-lighting units available from Dart Division of Koehring, Denver, Colo. 80223.
Included in the brochure are photographs of each unit with descriptions of major components and a complete list of standard specifications. Dart lighting systems provide temporary or emergency lighting for contractors, public utilities and mining operations.
Concrete Curing Blanket
Empire Corp. has added a 10' x 25' concrete curing blanket to their "Poly-X" line. Made of closely woven green polyethylene, the material is laminated both sides with poly film. Blanket construction utilizes heat-sealed seams to insure complete water proofing and 1" thick fiber glass insulation for maximum protection against cold.
Made to hang and for repeated use, these curing blankets have insulation bonded to both sides of the Poly-X covering and 6 ply 1½" rope-reinforced tarp hems on four sides with grommets on 3 centers.
Empire Poly-X concrete curing blankets are manufactured and distributed by Empire Corp., 8777 Brighton Rd., Adams City, Colo.
Untearable Poly Sheeting
Sto-Cote Products, Inc., 2139 N. Wayne Ave., Chicago, III. 60614, has introduced an untearable cross-laminated poly sheeting called Tu-Tuf, which is claimed to defy destruction by human hands. (The powerful Mr. Tu-Tuf pictured here can easily tear a 3"-thick phone directory, but he cannot tear Tu-Tuf, the company says.)
This remarkable new poly sheeting has a tensile strength up to 8,000 lbs. per sq. in. and impact strength that is immeasurable on standard testing equipment. The material is tough and flexible at temperature from -70 to over 200 degrees F, resists ultra-violet degradation, will not run, peel or shatter, and its moisture transmission rates low, according to Sto-Cote.
It is said to be ideal material for building enclosures, over-the-road shipments and on-site protection in the construction industry.
Trinity White Brochure
Six striking examples of imaginative use of white architectural concrete both cast-in-place and precast are featured in a new 12-page brochure available free from Trinity White. "White Architectural Concrete. Its Freedom and Stability" devotes separate sections to form, texture and color. Each section is amply illustrated with completed buildings.
White concrete's unique combination of strength and flexibility is dramatically presented. In each example cited, the architect combined white concrete's infinite form, color, and texture possibilities to achieve the desired effect. The brochure explains several of the techniques available for creating color and texture combinations. It also presents an example of the use of matching precast white concrete panels and cast-in-place white concrete for economy reasons.
Because white concrete has the same strength and durability characteristics as ordinary grey concrete, the brochure explains, it is uniquely suited for use as both a structural and aesthetic design medium. Compact Infrared Heater
A space-saving propane gas-fired infrared heater that can be hung on the wall or stand on its own has been designed by Paulin Products Co. The flameless unit has a heat output of 7,000 BTU's per hour and will operate at full output capacity for approximately 3 hrs. on a 14-oz. cylinder of propane gas.
The unit weighs less than 2 lbs. without tank. Temperature can be regulated to desired heat, and the heating element is guaranteed for 5 years.

Masonry Anchors
Phillips Drill Co., Inc. has introduced a new line of Red Head masonry anchors providing an anchor for virtually every masonry application. The plastic flange type anchor is designed for quick and easy fastening to any type of surface, from plaster and wallboard to concrete, stone, brick and block. The flange design holds the anchor in place during installation, preventing it from turning in the hole. The anchor takes a machine type screw and expands as the screw is inserted into the anchor, which comes in " and 14" sizes. The remainder of the new Red Head line includes a lead calking anchor, lag shield, and toggle bolt.
