See You In Atlanta on February 23-28

The program for the '73 MCAA Annual Convention is rapidly taking shape, according to Convention Chairman O.L. Jollay.

On Sunday afternoon at the MCAA Management Institute members will hear Charles W. Miller of Atlanta discuss "Know Your Competition-It Knows You." Mr. Miller heads a well-known appraising and consulting firm in that city. His experience includes a full range of projects from single and multi-family housing through all types of commercial, industrial and institutional developments.

Immediately following this will be an in-depth discussion on "Panels Threat or Challenge." Heading up the three major segments of the program will be Mark Parseghian, MCAA member; John R. Joyce, Secretary of BM & PIU. and a leading architect still to be confirmed. In addition, these speakers will be joined by Gage Behunin, Denver, Colo.; Oscar Person, San Francisco, Calif., William Mitchell, Louisville, Ky., and Dallas Grenley, Midland, Mich. They will give a resume of their activities and a backdrop of their analyses of this very topical subject matter.

On Monday members will again hear from industry leaders who will bring an informative message to them. Tuesday's program will be a deviation from last year's highly successful workshop sessions. Topics such as the All-Weather Testmobile by Al Isberner, Portland Cement Association; Industry Promotion Programs by Neal English; Loadbearing Construction by Oscar Person, and a session on the OSHA regulations will be the subjects first given in the early morning hours and then repeated later in the day in order to give everyone the opportunity to attend the sessions.

The Annual Meeting will be held again on Tuesday afternoon, and the Annual Banquet will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Marriott that evening. Entertainment this year will feature the ever-popular Glenn Miller band.

Mrs. Jollay, Ladies Program Chairman, indicates that a very attractive and enjoyable ladies program is being prepared. A special program will be mailed to all ladies in the very near future.

The January issue of Masonry will feature the entire convention program as well as the exhibit layout listing all of the participating firms and their personnel who will be on hand to answer questions from visitors.

MCAA members will be receiving special bulletins through MCAA News which will keep them informed of the latest program developments.
