Somebody is
Somebody is spending millions to put masons out of business. You know who it is. The big corporations that make competitive products. They're promoting like mad.
So we have two choices.
We can cover our eyes and hope builders and architects choose masonry.
Or we can support our own promotional arm, The International Masonry Institute.
IMI promotes all masonry products and services through national advertising and publicity. To win back traditional markets now lost. To tap new markets. Also, to assist local groups in promoting masonry. Kill 2, birds with it. Current national ads. In addition, IMI produces publicity kits and other promotional material.
The way we pool our resources for this much-needed promotion is through masonry's local collective bargaining agreements: One cent for every hour worked by bricklayers and masons. This one-cent contribution must be written into agreements quickly. Now. Any delay simply gives our competition time to dig deeper inroads.
To find out more about IMI and how you can support it, MCAA chapters and local union officers can write or phone IMI. Show the country that masonry's best.
