Construction Enclosures
Flexipane is a newly developed enclosure material for construction and all- purpose use. It combines the strength of steel with the flexibility of poly and features unusual strength and durability (it won't flap in the wind) while retaining heat, admitting light and shutting out cold, wind and dust.
The unique wire fabric is laminated from 20-gauge wire netting and 4-5 mil clear poly. Its uses are numerous and varied, and you can shape it to fit your needs for scaffold tarps, enclosures, tool sheds, protective barriers and partitions.

Carbide Percussion Bits
A new, broader line of carbide percussion bits has been announced by Chicago-Latrobe, 411 W. Ontario St., Chicago, III. 60610.
The company said: "With this expansion and inclusion of shank adaptors, it now permits the purchaser the added flexibility of using these bits in all of the masonry • July, 1973 major hammers available in today's market, thus eliminating the need for duplicate inventories."
The new Convoflute design is incorporated to give added drill milage and is said to have actual advantages over conventional designs. Full information and prices are included in Chicago- Latrobe's brochure M-72, copies of which are available on request.
Apartment Gets Cleansing
Acidizing and cleansing a four-story, 106-unit apartment house in four days was accomplished by Carmichael Construction Co. of Hastings, Nebr. Normally a 3½ week project, Carmichael used just two men on the project, one on a snorkel scaffold and another, part-time, at ground level.
The labor-saving aspect of this project and case of operation is a major breakthrough for Dutton-Lainson Co. of Hastings. A multi-purpose high-pressure washer developed by Dutton-Lainson was responsible for the record-setting achievement.
Dutton-Lainson developed the "Golden Rod" washer and Carmichael used it to completely acidize and clean the apartment house. The "Golden Rod model 17B washer features 500 psi water pressure. A 24" trigger-action spray gun that locks in spraying position offers a choice of solid stream or flat spray and operates at 3 gpm from a standard waterhose supply.
Lull High Lift Loader
New in the high-lift loader line of Lull Engineering Co., Inc. is the Model 400- TF High Lift. With 4,000-lb. load capacity and a maximum lifting height of 34', the Lull 400-TF features 20 hydraulic front axle tilt control and a free-oscillating rear axle to keep loads level on sloping or rough terrain. Fork carriage tilt 15 forward and 12 rearward and an optional 12° left or right provides additional load-leveling action.
Other features of the new Lull loader are 4-wheel drive and 4-wheel power steering with crab-steering left or right. The double-acting hydraulic lift provides full power up and down as well as power down-crowd of the load carriage.

Fortex Revises Literature
Fortex Industries Inc. through its sole agents, Fortex Enterprises of 310 Madison Ave., New York, N.Y. 10017, has revised its price lists. The model N300-10 has been eliminated from the Fortex line and will no longer be available for future orders, the company announced.
