'I Get 28% More Brick Per Man Per Day on MORGEN Scaffolding'
-says Red Brookshire, Charlotte, N.C.
"Using MORGEN Scaffolding on the Mercy Hospital additions in Charlotte increased my production 28% over what I used to get on tubular frames. I increased from 700 brick per man per day on tubular up to 900 brick per man per day on Morgen."
"And the same men get a much better quality wall by working at the right level all the time, without interruption. The walls are much easier to keep straight and plumb."
Two additions to the hospital are each eight stories high, 202' x 90'. The contract called for 422,000 face brick, 80,000 common brick, 126,500 inside concrete blocks and 600 cubic feet of facing stone 4" thick, the largest of these being 6'8" long and 2'8" high.
"This is the safest scaffolding I've ever used," added Supt. Coley Duckworth. "It's stronger, more stable and permits more working space for the labor, enough to roll the heavy stone facing to its proper location."
"Morgen Scaffolding is not just a scaffolding," Red Brookshire concluded. "It's a labor-saving system that really makes a man some money!"
