Brick masonry is featured on both the exterior and interior walls in the remodeling project of two branch office buildings for the Lincoln Savings & Loan Association in the Portland area. The face brick selected by the architect and owners has an interesting history. The brick was originally manufactured to match the existing face brick in an early Victorian residence that was being renovated in Vancouver, B.C. The units have an extremely hard density and are suitable for use as paving brick.
