rants and quaint shops. All areas will be paved with brick pavers on several levels for added interest to the hillside contours.

Designers of the project are Myers & Kroker Architects & Planners, AIA. Mel Kroker, who gave the 35mm slide presentation on the center, said the design will be patterned after the rustic European village architecture that has appealed to so many travelers.

Loadbearing masonry walls of brick and block will give the total project a continental atmosphere and a refreshing change from the commercial appearance of so many shopping centers. Early estimates of the total brick requirements are in excess of one million units. Work is scheduled to begin early in 1975.

The Census Bureau recently figured out what today's 18-year-old will earn in his lifetime. If his education stops at grammar school, his earnings will total $277,000. If he gets through high school, the average goes up to $371,000. However, if he finishes college, his earnings zoom to an average of $584,000. How about graduate degrees? According to the survey, a graduate degree should add another $52,000 for a lifetime income of $636,000.
