Portable Lever Puller
With the help of a compact lever puller, one man can easily pull a bulldozer out of the mud, lift a load of lumber, uproot a tree, straighten a support beam, tighten a guy wire, and do hundreds heavy jobs around a construction site, says Harrington Co., Plymouth Meeting, Pa.
Harrington lever pullers are made in seven capacities from 500 lbs. to 6 tons. They are all light enough for one man to carry from job to job and compact enough to use in cramped quarters.
All Harrington lever pullers have totally enclosed construction for optimal safety and minimal risk of rusting. The chain is electrically welded and heat-treated for strength and long life. The hooks are equipped with safety latches to prevent the load from slipping off.

Protective Barrier Cream
Cement in wet or dry form is often a prime source of skin burns caused by its alkalinity. Exposed hands and forearms are particularly vulnerable to these burns. To help prevent skin contact with cement dusts or wet cement, many workers are using the protective barrier hand cream, Kerodex No. 71.
The cream is greaseless, stainless and water-repelent. It is available in 4 oz. tubes, 1 lb. jars, and 8 lb. tins. Sold through industrial distributors or write Special Products Dept., Ayerst Laboratories, 685 3rd Ave., New York, 10017.
