Oregon's Hammurabi Awards
(Continued from page 24)
featured in the 1975 November/December issue of MASONRY. The cover photograph shows the Grand Hammurabi Award selection, Pringle Creek Elderly Housing Project. Designed by Mention, Hanns & Lindburg, AIA, the structure featured 8" thru the wall units. The park-like setting in the core area of the city brought open space for it's citizens. The City of Salem, Oregon was the developer.
Clark County received a Recognition Award for Excellence in an Institutional Project, the Pleasant Valley Intermediate School. Thru the wall units were used to enclose the school by the architects, Bradbury/Stanek, AIA. Colorful brick and painted areas lend interest to the school grounds.
