ABOUT OUR COVER
The imposing lion's head, a striking piece of terra cotta sculpture
weighing more than 400 pounds, is one of the 12,000 terra cotta
units specially produced for the recent addition to the landmark
Hotel Utah in Salt Lake City. The new hotel addition plus a complete renovation of the existing facility posed some challenging problems for the masonry craftsmen employed on this project.
