B&D Goes Metric

Black & Decker Manufacturing Co., Towson, Md., has announced that all divisions of its U.S. Power Tool Group will adopt international standard metric units of measure for all new product and accessory designs started after January 1, 1978. To facilitate the transition, the company has formed a corporate metrication committee to coordinate metric change-over procedures and activities.
