Design Conference
The fifth annual Structural Design Conference sponsored by the Iowa Concrete Masonry Association and American Society of Civil Engineers in cooperation with the Civil Engineering Department of Iowa State University was held on December 8 on the Iowa State campus.
This year's conference, "Design and Construction of Concrete Masonry Structures," covered reinforced concrete masonry design engineering, waterproofing and insulating systems for exterior walls, cost estimating, and energy conservation design effects.
