Citations Issued to Individual Companies. A Georgia contractor was cited for serious violation of 1926.28 for failure to require the use of personal protective equipment for an employee on a scaffold. This serious citation carried with it a proposed penalty of $800.
A proposed penalty of $800 was issued for a serious citation of 1926.500 (D) (1) for failure to guard an open sided platform.
For failure to comply with 1926.104 (A), a mason contractor in New Jersey was fined a proposed penalty of $800 for failure to require the use of personal protective equipment for an employee working 15 feet above the ground.
A Maryland mason contractor has been given three repeated citations and a total penalty of $2,050 for failure to guard open-sided floors, failure to maintain aisles and passageways free of debris, and failure to provide covers for garbage disposal containers.
