Stow Concrete Saws
Stow Manufacturing Co., 1215 Bump Rd., Binghamton, N.Y. 13902, has gone into production on a new line of concrete saws. These saws are ideal for cutting or cleaning expansion joints, repairing curbs and gutters, cutting walks and driveways, and patch and trench work. The new Stow saws are available in 9 different models, from heavy-duty to lightweight. They feature kerf clear cutting action (the blade turns counterclockwise, cleans out the kerf and eliminates climb-out); accurate, locking depth-of-cut control: heavy-duty blade guard; throttle control conveniently located for ease of adjustment; a fold-up bar guide that assures accurate, straight cuts, and water feed attachment to cool the blade and keep down dust.
Lull Lift Outriggers
Lull Engineering Co., Inc., 3045 Hwy. 13, St. Paul, Minn. 55121, is offering optional out-riggers for its 844 Highlander High Lift. These hydraulic stabilizers allow maximum load lifts even when the boom is extended. Now 4,500 lbs. can be spotted 231½ in front of the machine, and 6,000 lb. loads can be placed 34' high and 12 in front of the High Lift. The out-riggers are 14' wide from pad to pad, and 11½" in front of the tires when set; they retract within the 8' width of the machine. The out-riggers can be lowered simultaneously or individually.
Mayco Masonry Pumps
Mayco Pump Corp.. 4560 Sperry St., Los Angeles, Calif. 90039, reports accelerated sales to the masonry industry for the first six months of 1978. The company says the increased demand for the Mayco Model C-30HD small line grout and concrete pump has been produced by the stepped-up use of loadbearing masonry construction, requiring grouting and the overall increase in building in general. The Mayco C-30HD is equipped with a 3-speed volume selector which gives almost infinite volume control, a real plus feature when grouting block.
Masonry Panels
A new technique for building inexpensive masonry panels used presently in a large single-family housing development in Colorado Springs, Colo. has been developed by Masonry Systems International. The company is a specialist in high-bond mortar additives, and manufactures and markets Sarabond and other mortar additives for use in constructing masonry panels.
