Increases Masons' Production 23% with MORGEN Scaffolding.
Moves 9,240 Square Feet of Scaffolding in 8 Hours.
"We have increased our masonry production approximately 23% by keeping our masons on Morgen Scaffolding. By simply winching up the platforms as work progresses, we are able to keep the masons at their most productive working level. And there is no time lost in relocating them each time laborers had to jump planks. We plank the carriages once at ground level, stock them with material, and they are elevated until the wall is topped off."
That's what Tom Keller, vice president of Pen Tek Corporation says about Morgen Scaffolding, shown building a personnel office on the Andrews Air Force Base. The job called for 280,000 standard brick and 70,000 8x8" block, Pen Tek used 32 towers 381/2' high.
"Being able to move fully assembled towers cut our labor costs considerably. We were able to move and reset 9,240 square feet of Morgen scaffolding with one operator and a fork lift and three laborers in approximately 8 hours."
With a crew of ten masons, Morgen Scaffolding will save you $20,000 to $40,000 a year, depending on pay scale. In addition, it slashes the cost of laborers by eliminating rescaffolding, and reducing set-up, moving and tear-down time. Write for complete information. For specific savings possible, include your current masons' and laborers' pay scales.
