Bank of America Branch Building
Carefully crafted brickwork tastefully decorated with rustic black wrought iron roof-support brackets create an attractive visual appeal in the design of the Bank of America's branch building in Nevada City, Calif. An interesting aspect of this branch is that it was the first structure to be constructed under a new city ordinance requiring that all buildings recognize the historical character of this once-famous gold-mining town of the California "Mother Lode" country.
The new building, totaling 7,600 sq. ft., replaced the existing Bank of America branch which serves Nevada City, Grass Valley, and surrounding areas.
