Dallas Masonry Showcase
One of the highlights of MCAA'S 1980 International Masonry Conference & Educational Trade Show in Dallas, Texas, was the popular Masonry Industry Showcase featuring live equipment demonstrations by manufacturers serving the masonry industry. Seven of the firms were rough terrain forklift producers, whose equipment is pictured on these pages-Dynamic Industries. The General. Inc., Koehring Compaction & General Equipment Group. Loed Corp.. Lull Engineering Co., Inc., Pettibone Corp., and The Prime-Mover Co. The remaining firms that participated were Morgen Manufacturing Co. (tower type scaffolding) and George Mayer Manufacturing, Inc. (Queen Air forced air fireplace/furnace). Special bleachers were erected in the parking area of the Loews Anatole Hotel in Dallas to accommodate the spectators.
